Rosella Green Park cemetery - waldronville dn

Postby smalva » Mon May 18, 2020 11:25 pm

Was surprised to see a Rosella in this area of Dunedin at the cemetery just before closing 16 May. It was eating a fruit off a Strawberry tree but flew off when we stopped the car. There are a few of these trees planted and fruiting not far from the entrance of the cemetery. We mentioned this to family who live just Sth of Brighton They said they had seen 2 Rosellas around their property and fairly irregularly. I have seen 3-4 fly over the bush behind Fairfield adjoining chain Hill Rd a couple of years ago. Just thought folk might be interested in their locations.
