Re: White NI fantail
Fantail lives in King Edward Park Stratford. I found it close to the main entrance on Fenton St, between the netball courts and the river. It is often seen around the swing bridge a little bit further along.

A non-birding friend of Annette's who lives in Stratford has also spotted this little beauty and sees it regularly, most recently yesterday.

The beautiful little bird put on a great display for us, both this morning, and this afternoon. Three times I saw a pied fantail attack it, and move it along, so the bird is alone. Very site faithful, always along the same stretch of river, although it disappeared for several hours around midday.

I made a trip to see this bird today. It appeared after only about a 20 minute wait. Thanks to the two local photographers for the help finding it. There were also plenty of other fantail, chaffinch, greenfinch and a juvenile pied shag, feeding and bathing near the river.
