Falcon pair at Waikawa bay, French Pass

Postby Will Parsons » Mon May 17, 2021 8:40 am

Had stunning views of this pair of falcon while on tour last Wednesday near French Pass. One bird was banded red tag 145. Anyone know this bird?
Have sent photo to banding office.

Hi Will,
Very cool views and nice photos. Hardly a “pair” though in the normal sense, since one is an adult and the other a juvenile!
Cheers

Thanks for clarifying; have very little knowledge on falcon.
Cheers
