Australian Tern found again today, halfway along the spit.

Just another question is the aussie tern still there im going to Nelson on the 12 till the 19th i might try to have a look?

Australian Tern showing well midday today.

Very smart bird.

Enjoyed watching the Australian tern hunting over the inner estuary for about 30 minutes this evening. It caught a few crabs, before crossing over the spit and disappearing off south along the beach.

Two Australian terns were hawking over the lagoon while I watched the sunrise on a chilly morning.
