Kingfisher having a bath? Phalarope don't stand like that and have very long fine bills. But actually I'm not at all sure.

It’s a New Zealand Dotterel in non-breeding plumage.

I wondered about Wrybill too. Not familiar with NZ Dott., but it is certainly very Dott-like.

Dotterels are a type of plover anyway, lol

Nz dotterel non breeding definatly
