heard in Northland, Wellington, around 6.30am Weds 14/9/22, in pohutukawa trees up in front of our house. Never heard one from home before, unmistakeable rasping call. Wonder if it was heading for Zealandia with the healthy population of whiteheads now established inside and around the fenceline area
