White-winged Black Tern, Wairau Lagoons

Mike Bell reports via eBird a White-winged Black Tern in non-breeding plumage at the Wairau Laggons Wader Roost on Friday morning: "Single bird roosting on drift wood near, but not with godwit. In non breeding plumage, small tern, typical club shaped marking behind eye. Familiar with species and no doubt on I'd."
