Re: Report of Nankeen Kestrel, Milford Sound
There are more than a few things unusual about this checklist that don't fit the location of the Milford Sound Foreshore Boardwalk. For example Stewart Island shags at Milford Sound, rock wren at sea level, an large number of yellowhammers at Milford Sound in what must be unusual habitat for them, also should it be NZ pigeon instead of feral pigeon ? Also the distance of 22 miles in 1 hour & 35 minutes indicates a super athlete, driving in a car to or cruising Milford Sound in a boat !

From a cruise boat I'd say. From eBird it looks like he's an American birder, but was in Sydney 31 Dec and now in Milford Sound - looks like the cruise boat route Sydney-NZ-Sydney.
