2 cattle egrets Lake Wairarapa

There were 2 cattle egrets this afternoon visible from Lake Domain Reserve. They were on the distant spit across the Tauherenikau River delta. One bird flew off and other fed in the shallows amongst the spoonbills - a rather odd sight.
