The influx continues...

Another little egret, this time actively feeding along a channel in the Avon River mudlfats, best viewed from Kibblewhite Street.

The little egret was feeding along the tidal creek just north of the windsurf area carpark in thecLinwood paddocks today at 11:00, but flew into the estuary and I couldn’t relocate it. Not to be confused with tue resident white heron across the road on the Linwood Ave canal.

I’ve had a report today of the little egret con the Ferrymead wetland ponds with a white heron and a spoonbill.
