The Twydles have just texted to say the three ducks originally seen on Fri morning and reported last night, are there right now ( 0750) Sunday morning. On the pool opposite the ambulance base on Kennedy Road. I'm heading there in a bit.

They are still here at Anderson Park 0935 Sunday 25 Sept. On the pond to the south of the one with the little pied shag colony. Finally caught up with these little devils! Stunning little things.

They are little stunners, so looking forward to some more shots Tim.
Here is one of mine taken yesterday, got quite a few of them feeding in the grass, and wandering around. Will be posting more of these guys and the bittern on my blog at some stage...
Cheers,

The PWD's where stil there today, along with a Turtle "Must have been released into the pond and about the size of a dinner plate" and a lone shinning cuckoo which I spotted in a tree nearby.
