Both birds still present today. George has some really interesting footage of them feeding on breed and the like with Mallards - I am sure he will post soon. Also of note was a Brown Teal/Mallard Hybrid. It was larger and darker than the Grey Teal, slate grey-brown, typical teal head shape and a white eye-ring. I have no experience or knowledge of what hybrids look like and this bird had an odd giss. If anybody goes there soon, please look out for this bird as I would like to know more. It was in the spot where the shoveler and teal often sit in the land between the two lakes facing the island. Beware - an angry swan is there and will attack!

Yes, here's the footage (excuse the shakiness!), both birds where quite happy to associate with mallards and give it everything they have to get the food :D

The Plumed Whistling Ducks were both present this morning. They appear to have forgotten their diffferences and were close together again - between the 2 ponds.

Both sighted today, about 10.30 we were there. One near the pond that came up so close had trouble shooting it with the 400mm, other one under the trees near the car park.
