ARCTIC TERN - Wakapatu Beach, Invercargill

Hi all,

(As reported on BIRDING-NZ), on 1 Dec Sav found a single non-breeding ARCTIC TERN on the rocks just out from the beach at Wakapatu Beach. This beach is about 10km to the west of Riverton. The rocks are at the western end of the beach, just a few metres offshore. The bird was roosting with white-fronted terns.
