No problem. And looking at it the other way, I'd rather be corrected than have the error mislead anyone, so good on you all for pointing it out.

Annette and I were at Matingarahi yesterday (just up the coast from Kaiaua) and spotted the bird below, which I suspect is the same one seen back in 2017. Definitely a very handsome individual, but clearly a white-faced heron in all other respects. We did have a bit of a hunt for it soon after it was first seen, nice to finally see it.
