This's a 1-year-old South Island Pied oystercatcher. Variable oystercatcher in pied phase, had rather untidy line between white and black.

If you are talking about the bird at the back, it's a godwit.

You are pointing at a Bar-tailed godwit which is grey-brown wader.
The stilts are black and white waders, with long bright pink legs and black needle-like beak.
Pied stilts are white birds with black wings & scapulars and hind-neck and mantle, plus black beaks and long pink legs.
Common in northern New Zealand and often breed inland.
Black stilts are completely black birds, with pink legs.
Gravely endangered specie.
