Leucistic variable oystercatcher in Whangarei

Hi all,

A fully leucisitic variable oystercatcher has been reported by Adam Clow today (first seen at 9.25 am, Monday 4 December) on H wharf at the end of Port Road, Whangarei. A few of Adam's Images are attached.

Great it's still around – was wondering where it had got to. It had been roosting out on the old broken wharf at the back of Limestone Island during August/September. Cheers Scott.
