3 White-winged Black Terns at Bromley Oxidation Ponds

3 White-winged Black Terns at Bromley Oxidation Ponds

3 adults in non-breeding plumage today at the usual place - west side of Dyers Road in pond 2a. There around noon today with 3 non-breeding Black-fronted Terns.

1 bird present at same spot beside main road yesterday afternoon.

Jack and I had great views this evening. All 3 birds present feeding with 9 Black Fronted Terns. The Southerly had them all nicely hawking midges quite close to the road at the Northern end of the middle pond, West side of the road edge.

Sorry. I'm only missing an 'East' in there to make things more confusing! :lol:
