Pied Morph VOC - uncommon Top of the South?

Postby kengeorge » Fri Aug 24, 2018 2:10 pm

Probably pretty common around other parts of the country, but this intermediate pied morph Variable Oystercatcher is the first one I've seen in Golden Bay recently. May try and nest on the Tarakohe Marina breakwater, be interesting to see what the offspring look like.
