Turnstone at Washdyke Lagoon

Joy and I are just back from our monthly count of waterbirds at Washdyke Lagoon. Among the waders recorded was a single Turnstone, The Turnstone wasn't recorded during our previous count at the lagoon, on 27 Aug 2018 and today's sighting was the 1st that we have recorded at the lagoon since Dec 2010.

Other waders recorded were: 2 Black-fronted Dotterels, 5 Banded Dotterels, 4 Wrybills, 3 Spur-winged Plovers, 2 SIPOs, 28 VOCs, 1 hybrid stilt, and 129 Pied Stilts.
