Pied shags nesting at Massey University, Palmerston North
I've never noticed shag nests in a large tree at the vet ponds on Massey University campus in Palmy before. I saw two occupied nests and there are several other ones there. Can anyone let me know if they have seen them before and if they are pied shags?

From a birding friend in Palmy. They are Little Shag Pied Morph, there are about 6 nests and they were also there last year.

Hi Jake, from the vet tower facing the bridge turn left and go past the picnic table. The nests are in the big willows to the left, overhanging the water and up quite high. Come find me if you can't locate them... Cheers, Phil
