This record and photo was posted on eBird on 8th Nov from a location described as "NE coast of NZ North Island, Gisborne District County, Gisborne, NZ". Larry Katkin (US birder) identifies it as "Laysan Albatross". It is a White-capped Albatross.

This kind of thing happens from time to time so thanks for the heads up. The filter picked this up right away but I hadn't had a chance to properly review it until now.
In future you can simply flag the record for review (which for Gisborne gets sent to me) or just email me with any ebird issues that you notice. With a public platform like this human error is common but thankfully most issues get picked up on quickly, especially when they involve Laysan Albatross!
