What wader?

Postby Will Parsons » Sat Feb 02, 2019 3:36 pm

Saw these birds this afternoon on the lower Opaoa river near the mouth of the Wairau river in Marlborough. There were 5 in total. They seemed to have different traits one with distinct red legs and one with white stripe on back. I thought at first they golden plover and then lesser knot and now I don't know! All these shots were taken in sequence. Can you help me? Sorry about quality of photos.
