Thanks David. Soaring around close to the road. No photos unfortunately but seen at a range of 20m at the closest so nice to see all the features well. Hopefully it hangs around. Lots of harriers about too as usual.

Could be, similarish but couldn't say for sure! Also a female-type harrier in the same general area (south of patetonga) in tail molt (looks forked) so beware of that if checking the area.

Black kite may been dead of old age.
