Black tailed Godwit - Waimea Nelson

Had a report from Willie Cook and Don Cooper of an impressive looking bird seen yesterday and photographed by Willie Cook.
Checked out the site today but not seen, tides not great and could be else ware.

Any details of the location of where the bird was photographed?

The bird was seen on the eastern end of Bell's Island.
