Cattle Egrets Parkhurst

This afternoon there were 7 Cattle Egrets in a paddock on the eastern side of South Kaipara road about 2 km north of Parakai [just south of Parkhurst village]

This flock [usually bigger] turns up around ANZAC day each year but I haven't seen any reports this year ----hence this posting
