Heard my first here, south Pirongia, on Sunday. Only heard once. Neighbors say they heard a few days earlier as well.

Heard my first of the season this morning at Hahei (Coromandel Peninsula). Wendy, my wife, heard her first c.10km away near home at Cooks Beach two days ago. Nigel Milius

Pretty certain I heard the downward call last Sunday 29th. Full call today in Remuera by Meadowbank school.
