Northern Giant Petrel - Te Oka Bay

Northern Giant Petrel - Te Oka Bay

There were two Giant Petrels very close to shore at Te Oka Bay around lunchtime yesterday. Previously I've only ever seen them further out at sea.

Would have been cool to see. Something special about seeing the big ocean birds 'off the bricks'
