A dog walk this morning produced a Stewart tick - a Black-fronted Dotterel on Horseshoe Beach in the southern corner. The bird was still present an hour later when I returned with my camera to grab a few record shots. It was very flighty and always kept its distance so the images are cropped. We've had strong easterly winds for over a week on the island. I'm pretty sure this will be worthy of a UBR.
