Fairy/Little Terns.

I spotted half a dozen or so Fairy or Little Terns from the NW motorway between Te Atatu and Pt. Chevalier today, 28th. October 2022 at approx. 10.00 am. More towards Pt. Chev. They show up there every few years sometimes for a few days. I was driving a bus so couldn't be absolutely sure which species. They should be visible from the walkway along the motorway.
