Rooks in Tararua

There was a flock of rooks, in a recently-harvested grain field, opposite Browns Rd, North of Eketahuna. Photos to come. An estimate of 45-60 birds, including some juveniles. Not sure how much interest there is in this species any more, but it's the largest group I've seen since I was a kid
