Possible juv tui, seeing there isn't heaps of tuftyness?

I've seen ones i think are adults with not much tuft

Huh, that's interesting.... are you sure it was an adult? I've never seen an adult tui with not much tuft.

I've seen definite adults completely lacking of tufts or any sign of one. I have encountered few tui with massive tufts, generally I find them worn and tatty, so I would call this an adult.

Philippa Stevenson in Tamahere just sent us this photo of a leucistic starling on her lawn. The normal white spots of a starling are just barely visible.
