What was the cost, when's the next one? I've been wanting to do some Pelagic birding but the tourist ones all leave from Picton.

It was a share cost trip so it depends on the number of people who join. We had 19 people so it came to $84 each. Another trip is planned but no firm date has been set yet. I'll post about it here and via the "New Zealand Birders" Facebook group ASAP.

Thanks Peter, I'm glad you thought so. As you say, the catering was also appreciated - by meat-eaters and vegetarians alike.
