Both still 'keeping it real' as of Dec 31, 2017. I have a feeling they will still be around in 2018!

They had not bred for 7 past years. One female had died few years ago, left just two males remain alive.

Found both ducks on 31 December - as far away from each other as possible. One at the pond with the oil rig on the west, the other on the grass by the east-northeast pond.
Also there was a goldfinch with some sort of extreme deformity or air sac rumpture (skin inflated like a balloon and transparent) flopping around in the pool, with the Mallard Ducks occassionally trying to kill it.
