Barbary Dove, Travis Wetland, ChCh

A pleasant surprise when I was leaving Travis this afternoon.
Beside the Education Center.
It tried to feed on the ground but a Blackbird took exception to it and chased it away.
There's a small population of them not too far away at Bottle Lake.

Also a small breeding population at Kiwiflora Nurseries at 851 Waterholes Road near Templeton, Chch
