Kaka in Wellsford

We live 3km West of Wellsford. I have just seen 2 Kaka flying overhead an calling. This is the first time this year. Last year a lone bird inhabited our patch of native bush and Garden from September until November but I never saw it with another bird. I keep exotic birds in aviaries on my property. I wonder if it would be the same bird returned with a mate? Anyone know much about Kaka and can help me?

You might like to also check out http://www.kakawatchnz.org/Home.html. I'm sure Suzi will be able to tell you everything you'd like to know. I'll point her to this in case she hasn't seen it.
