It was one of my very favorite sites, with great memories of OSNZ censuses, atlas entries, and twitches for some great rarities.
Best of all when other sites were no good because the tide was out you could go here and, once waded across the creek, walk around the mud flats studying waders while they foraged.
I really miss it and resent being locked out

Thanks for sharing those memories, Phil. It makes me want to experience it all the more, though I imagine it must be worse when you have a good thing only for it to be snatched away.
