I'm a bit sour about this list in particular... I have the highest count in Palmy at the moment. I wonder if they are taxidermied specimens held at Massey that he's used

Matt was an exchange student from the US and I expect that this was just his personal list that somehow got listed as Massey. Clearly it is not, and shouldn't be (and no doubt won't be) analysed as if it were a real list. I'm sure it's not intentional.

Not a LSP but we did discuss this bird a fair bit and it appears to show traits of Banded Dotterel and Shore Plover, but the observer is still unsure and it was not resighted.

Not 100% sure on this one But they have down a Greater-sand Dotterel/Plover.
I think it's a NZ Dotterel but not 100% sure on that.

They are also using the name "Double-banded plover" in their description of what else they think it could be, so they might not be a New Zealander either.
