Possible Pectoral Sandpiper Foxton

Today saw and photographed what could be a Pectoral Sandpiper at Foxton Beach. However I am severely wader challenged in ID so could be making a Dill of myself (hoping not a Knot!). Unfortunately being at the beach bach cannot upload photos today, but will tomorrow, Confident they will be good enough for experts to ID

Hi Haggarty. I believe this is a sharp-tailed sandpiper because the brown streaking on the breast does not show distinct demarcation from the white belly, the bill does not appear two-toned, and the bird has a rufous crown and strong white supercilium.
