Forsyth and Ellesmere

Post by Stevex2 »

Checking out a few spots within a short distance of home (Little River) today and was rewarded with a gull-billed tern at O Te Wairewa (Lake Forsyth), cruising along the stop-bank adjacent to the Little River Rail Trail, and a Marsh Sandpiper amongst pied stilt at Embankment Road on Te Waihora/Lake Ellesmere. Embankment Road also rewarded the visit with more than 200 wrybill.

That's a bit unlucky for me, I only stopped by Little River.
