We live 3km West of Wellsford. I have just seen 2 Kaka flying overhead an calling. This is the first time this year. Last year a lone bird inhabited our patch of native bush and Garden from September until November but I never saw it with another bird. I keep exotic birds in aviaries on my property. I wonder if it would be the same bird returned with a mate? Anyone know much about Kaka and can help me?
