Song Thrush 2025

Post by Jim Kirker »

Heard a song thrush sing briefly at Michael's Ave. Reserve in Ellerslie yesterday, couldn't quite believe my ears and then heard another this morning at home here in Remuera, again just a few phrases but unmistakenly song thrush. Autumn seems late hereabouts in Auckland, leaves still on the oaks and a magnolia stellata with flowers among yellowing leaves.
