Hi all,
I'm currently on my birdwatching trip via public transportation in New Zealand, and I've just learned that a Snares penguin has appeared at Katiki Point. I'll be in Dunedin on February 7th and have the morning free (in the afternoon I need to head to Invercargill to prepare for my island visit—I can take the InterCity bus departing from Moeraki Turn Off to Invercargill). Would anyone be willing to give me a ride? I’m happy to pay for the lift.
Cheers

I should have been crazy enough to post this... Btw I'm not sure about the behaviour of penguins, will the bird stay for that long?

The penguin will likely stay to moult over the next couple of weeks, but it could also die of starvation or be picked up by penguin rescue. Email me oscarkokako(AT)gmail.com
