Cattle egret - Piako 10 Nov

Hi all,

Forgot to mention we had a lone cattle egret in a paddock beside the road between Piako and Waitakaruru, near Thames on 10 Nov. There is often a flock of around 30-odd in winter, but this bird was in full breeding plumage and alone.
