Cattle Egrets

Duck shooting with my dad on a canal just behind Pukehina on Saturday, I saw a flock of four Cattle Egret...? They had a rusty colouring on their back's flying southwards towards Paengaroa.

My brother saw 6 flying over Gordonton on Monday - first time I recall them being seen around here. They were heading north-west, so maybe on their way to join the flock at Rangiriri.
