Susan and I are heading back to the US today and just wanted to thank everyone here for the information and alerts. BirdingNZ.net has been extremely useful to us during our visit here and is such a fantastic resource!

We got to see and photograph about 72 unique species during our travels and we had fun getting to meet some other birders out there. Our highlights were seeing penguins in the wild, Stewart Island, Motuara Island, and seeing lots of chicks and nests.
