Kia Ora all
Last week I saw a whale in the Hauraki gulf. All I saw was it's spout it looked quite small and it was very similar to a Minke or Sei whales spouts if anyone could give me a hand in trying to figuring out what it was it would be much appreciated.

Hello,
Most likely a Brydes whale. Similar to a minke and the often seen in the Hauraki Gulf.
Cheers
