Kia ora
Myself & Trina Smith are looking to take a full day tour to Blumine & Motuara Islands in the Marlborough Sounds with E-ko Tours on Thursday 30 May. We are doing this as part of a road trip prior to the Birds New Zealand Conference in Nelson from the 1st to the 3rd of June. E-ko Tours require a minimum of 8 people booked to operate the tour & I am just mentioning this tour possibility in case others also going to the conference would like to visit these predator free islands. Also, please excuse the self interest in encouraging others book this tour !

The tour will depart from Picton at 8.00am on Thursday 30 May & it will include a 5 hour unguided visit to Blumine Island. Bird species seen could include: orange-fronted kakariki & mohua (on Blumine Island), yellow-crowned kakariki (on Motuara Island), king shag, South Island saddleback, weka, tomtit, robin, rifleman & fluttering shearwater etc. It should be a great opportunity to see some rare birds on the fabulous islands of the Marlborough Sounds.

Please kindly make a booking directly with E-ko Tours if you are interested in this tour.
Cheers
