Yeah there's also probably a few from gulf harbour (one w an image that's obviously immature silver thats still up!) I can't find the checklist rn, but I also remember an Auckland one that reported Black Shag, but had an image of a Little Shag attached instead..

Bill colour and face pattern favour Grey Duck. Anterior speculum stripe and orange legs indicate hybrid ancestry.

My guess would be Pukeko - it's a similar-enough name to Kokako and that number being seen in fields sounds right.

Saw this report of a Mute Swan in the Far North - https://ebird.org/checklist/S153847515.

I went for a look today - no Swan, but there was a single (pure white) Greylag Goose hanging out in the paddock. No significant water bodies there either, apart from a small creek, so assuming this Goose may be the Swan?
