Minimal 3, possibly 4 little egret. 4 white herons Today.
The first Little Egret was on the far side at the top end.
The 2nd and 3rd Little Egrets were feeding and roosting along the shoreline just north of Catons Bay in front of the cormorant colony (currently empty). I suspect they'll night roost there.
2 birds arrowed (and the previous one could be seen in the distance still at the tope end).
I later found 1 feeidng ar a creek mouth on the opposite shore near the Black Cormorant cliff colony (also empty currently)
a map showing white heron and little egret locations.
I did a full lake census today, other highlights were 191 Crested Grebe and 807 Scaup.

None at Catons Bay when we visited this afternoon but 2 birds with 3 white herons at the mouth of Little River. Almost missed the Egrets in the Gull flock. Not much bigger!

Two Little Egrets and one white heron just north of Caton's Bay this morning and then moved to Caton's Bay itself while observing. A strong southerly bringing fog saw them leave for the upper end of the Lake which is where Adam saw them later in the day.
