Glossy Ibis, Manawatu Estuary

Jesse Conklin reports via eBird photographing a Glossy Ibis at Manawatu Estuary yesterday with the godwits:

There will be a 'Farewell to the Godwits' gathering there at the Dawick Street viewing platform on Saturday at 3.30pm.

Photos posted to Facebook show that the migratory wader flock there already has many birds in breeding plumage.
